Decoding sources and limitations

We combine free NHTSA vPIC data with the Swiss ASTRA/FEDRO type-approval catalogue. Coverage is partial: NHTSA focuses on the US market; ASTRA identifies possible variants by VIN pattern. We do not check accidents, mileage, theft or service history.
