A battery assessment report for electric and hybrid vehicles
Record available test-equipment results alongside the method, charge level and conditions. The customer receives a document explaining where the readings came from and what they can establish.
A SOH reading needs the method and conditions under which it was obtained.

What it solves in the workshop
Method beside the result
Record the equipment and assessment method so results are not compared without context.
Visible SOC and temperature
Keep test conditions alongside the available battery readings.
Conclusions without range promises
Explain observations and further checks without turning a percentage into guaranteed driving range.
What the report includes
- Recorded test date, equipment and method.
- Entered state of charge and ambient temperature.
- SOH and capacity observations, when available.
- Battery fault-code check status and available findings.
- Conclusion and interpretation limits under the recorded conditions.

Recommended next step
Confirm the reading’s meaning using the applicable method and documentation, and complete missing checks where needed.
Readings are illustrative. The report does not guarantee usable capacity, driving range or warranty eligibility.
How to complete the report
- Identify the vehicle and battery concerned, then record equipment and method.
- Enter only available results and test conditions; distinguish missing readings from zero.
- Review interpretation against manufacturer documentation and generate the PDF with inspection limitations.
Questions about this report
Does the app measure battery SOH itself?
This report documents results obtained with the equipment or method used. Completing a form alone does not physically measure the battery.
Does 89% SOH mean 89% of the original driving range?
That does not follow directly. Range depends on conditions, consumption and assessment method, and the meaning of SOH varies between systems and methods.
Is this a manufacturer warranty certificate?
No. It records the documented inspection. Confirm warranty requirements and official assessment with the manufacturer or authorised network.
Can I add my workshop logo and colours to the report?
Yes, on paid reports: choose the style (modern, classic for print, your workshop colour, minimalist, premium or sport), the colour, header details, your own numbering, the technician signature and stamp, plus a message, terms and IBAN. Free reports use the standard OBDAuto design.
